Aleksandrina Semerdzhieva was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her stage debut as a singer she gave in 2006 as Poly Peachum in the "Threepenny Opera" (B. Brecht, K. Weill) in the theater "Sfumato", Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2009 she finished her studies as Bachelor in the subject of "opera singing" at the National Academy of Music "Pantscho Vladigerov" in Sofia. Between 2009 and 2011 Aleksandrina took the master's degree in opera directing at the New Bulgarian University. She also served as assistant director on three opera projects: "Le Nozze di Figaro" - Mozart (on the stage of the State Theater of Ruse), "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" - Rossini (Vidin State Theater) and "Abduction from the Seraglio" (State Theater Russe) - Mozart.
Between 2015 and 2017 Aleksandrina did a further education at the "Opernakademie Schloss Henfenfeld" with director Oliver Klöter (HfMT Cologne) and vocal coach Denette Whitter. On the stage of the same house she played the leading roles in various opera and operetta productions, among others: Musetta (La Boheme), Pamina (Magic Flute), Konstanze (Abduction from the Seraglio), Bronislava (The Beggar Student), Malwine von Hainau (Black Forest Girl ), Despina (Cosi fan tutte) ...
